Flax Weaving

Today Mrs Tamati did flax weaving with us.  She taught us how to make putiputi (flowers). It was really tricky, but lots of fun.

    Hi Room 6. The flax flowers look amazing. Did they take a long time to make? I wonder if any honey bees will be tricked into thinking they are real and try and collect pollen from them.
