Arlia Murphy and Emily Wellstead created a really catchy song
entitled ‘Go Green’ and Madison Biggs, Emma Rees and Phoebe
Wellstead, created a short video explaining the importance of
recycling. Both groups shared the runner-up position in the Year
4-6 prize category.
Room 5 and 6 were also prize winners in the Year 1- 3 Category with entries that shared their recycled artwork.
Today there was a special prize giving at the Council Chambers. The prize giving was during a formal Council meeting and the children shared their entries with the Mayor and the Councillors before receiving their prizes. Andrew and Emer represented our class and collected the Room 6 prize, which was a kiwi puppet, four picture books and lots of zero waste stickers. We were very lucky!
We are very proud of all of you - well done!
