VIRTUAL GREAT WALK COMPETITION- WHAT WOULD WE TAKE!

The junior school has now walked more than 9km  around our local environment for our 'Virtual Great Walk '.
We have made it past the second hut on the Routeburn Track called The Routeburn Falls Hut. This hut can sleep up to 48 people!

This got us thinking about what we would need to take if we really did walk the Routeburn Track?

Mrs Kitto  and Miss Tyrrell walked into the classroom after lunch with their tramping packs on their backs!

We had a lot of fun unpacking the packs and deciding what  we would and wouldn't take take with us.
