Old Coach Road
Today we walked on some of the old tracks that were used by the gold miners who worked on the Dunstan goldfields in the 1860's. Thousands of miners traveled to the district along the Old Dunstan trail and the Old Coach Road. We looked at the deep tracks that the wagon wheels had worn in the rocks.
We also walked down to look at the Lower Manorburn Dam which was built in 1934. It is used as an irrigation dam for Galloway.
We had lunch at Pioneer Park playground.
