Koko Exploring Clyde School

Today we took Koko around our school and when we got back to class we wrote about where we had taken him.  Click on the book below to see some photos and read our stories.

This week during guided reading Maddie, Avie, Meisha and Annie read the poem 'The Wild Wet Wellington Wind'. Today they recorded it. They tried really hard to use lots of expression. 

It's Raining! It's Pouring!

What a wet day it turned out to be. We are not use to all this rain her in Central Otago.  We decided to use the rain as inspiration for todays writing.   Maddie I really like the way you are carefully sounding out words. Well done Remi - super independent writing after only 3 months at school.

The Long Jumper

Today we watch some slow motion video footage of long jumpers. We were amazed at how far they went. It looked like some of them were running in mid-air.
