During our reading rotation today Ellah (Yr 1) and Tahlia (Yr 1) recorded one of their reading books using Quicktime. Well done girls, a super job.

Icicles
Avie and Andrew brought some wonderful icicles to school today. A lovely frosty start to a gorgeous day.

Tiddler Stories
We have been reading stories by Julia Donaldson.
We really enjoyed the story about ‘Tiddler’ the story telling fish. Tiddler was always making up stories to explain why he was late to school.

Teddy Sleepover
Some of our teddies stayed at school last night and when we arrived at school this morning they were not where we left them.
During writing time we wrote about what we saw when we arrived at school.
Mrs Kitto was very impressed with effort that our new Year 1 class members put into their writing. Well done!

A Special Welcome
A very special welcome to our new Year 1 children who have come through from Room 5 to join us this term. Miss Tyrell has told me what super learners you are, so I'm very excited about getting to know you all better. I'm sure everyone in Room 6 will make you feel very welcome.
