Snow Farm

On Friday we spent the day the Wanaka Snow Farm.  We had lessons in the morning and then in the afternoon we went tubing and explored some of the trails.  What an awesome day! Thank you to all the wonderful parents who came along to help out and enjoy the day with us.

  1. I really enjoyed the snow farm. I had fun leaning to ski. My Daddy had fun too. He had pain in his legs from skiing. from Cody

  3. Good Morning Room 6
That looks really fun. Our class want to go there now too, but it might be a little to far for us to travel. We love when it snows at Otautau, but we have not had much snow this year. Does your whole school get to go or just your class?

    1. The whole of the junior school get to go skiing, but it is a choice. The seniors go down hill skiing and the year 7 and 8 get to go on a three day snow camp. We are very lucky.

  4. Hi Room 6, we think you are so lucky to get to spend the day skiing! What a fun Friday. That is very interesting to read that TAS have never seen snow in Whangarei, we get quite a bit in Southland. How fast did you get to go tubing, and did you all have lots of crashes, we do when we are learning! From Room 5 at Winton.

    1. There was a snow bike and a sled that went really fast. The tubes went fast if you ran up to them and jumped on them. Some of us did have lots of crashes.
