We are learning about measurement. We are learning how to use non-standard measurements to compare objects. Yesterday we compared our teddy bears. We used connecting blocks to measure and compare the height of our teddy bears, the length of their arms and legs, and their arm spans.
Today we drew around each other and used our hands and feet to measure the parts of our bodies. We discovered that using our hands and feet to measure isn't as accurate as using blocks, because we all have different sized hands and feet.
Hi room 6. Who was the biggest when you measured yourself? Who had the biggest and smallest teddy?

That looks like really fun maths. I like your body picture Reubs. I think I can see Cody drawing around you. How many hands big were you?
