Do you remember watching the shoe lace tying video that one of our quadblogging buddy classes posted at the beginning of the year? If you can tie your shoelaces already, then perhaps you might like to give this new way a try. It takes a bit of practise, but it is a super fast way to tie your shoes once you have mastered it.

We were so pleased to see this post. Lots of the children are learning to tie their laces and it is really tricky. We watched the other video earlier this term and the children were amazed at the 'magic laces' but didn't find it easy. We will keep practicing!
ReplyDeleteWe were wondering whether all of the children in your class have learnt how to do it now?
From E7 at Eastern Hutt School
Hi E7 we can all tie our shoe laces. Half of use use the 'bunny ears' way and half of us use the 'rabbit round a tree' way (that's the one when you only make one bunny ear which we call a tree. There are two people in our class who have been learning the magic way. It's really tricky and they can only do it sometimes.
