Geometric Designs

We have been learning about symmetry and have used what we have learnt this week to design wrapping paper. We learnt how to translate (slide) and reflect (flip) groups of shapes. Many of our designs have elements of symmetry within them. Can you spot any designs which are symmetrical?

I like the pink one. It had faces and they were yellow. They had a mouth and a nose and a mouth and there were nine faces, and I like them.

We think that the designs are amazing, because they have been slid. I like the suns, circles and stars. I like how they have been slid, flipped and turned.
B4 has done it before. It was fun.
