A few weeks ago we read the story 'Tangaroa's Gift'. It was about a sad a lonely sea creature called Paua. Mighty Tangaroa, the God of the sea, felt sorry for Paua and decided to give him a very special gift. We looked at the themes in the book, which were relationships, feelings and inner beauty. We used the story as inspiration for creative dance and for art. Below are some of our art.
