Today we learnt about habitats. We talked about different types of bugs and where they might like to live.
We went for a walk on the river track below our school and collected some materials to make bug hotels.
While we were there we sat quietly amongst the trees, shut our eyes and listened quietly to the sounds we could hear. We heard the river rushing past us, the sound of crackling leaves and pine needles below us, and birds singing in the trees.
